1240926 A7 B7 五、發明説明(1 ) 【發明所屬之技術領域】 (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) .本發明是關於,光記錄媒體及其製造方法,詳述之, 是關於光透過層被薄膜化的光記錄媒體及其製造方法。 【先前技術】 近年來,由CD或DVD代表的光記錄媒體被廣泛使 用作爲記錄大容量的數位資料用的記錄媒體。一般,再生 專用的光記錄媒體是從光射入面側依序堆疊光透過層(光 透過性基板)、反射層,保護層之各層,可寫入的光記錄 媒體則從光射入面依序堆疊光透過層(光透過性基板)、 記錄層、反射層’保護層之各層,在各種型式的光記錄媒 體,讀出資料時,是從光透過層照射設定成再生電力的雷 射光束,而檢出其反射光。而可寫入的光記錄媒體在寫入 資料時,是從光透過層照射設定成記錄電力的雷射光束, 藉其熱能及/或光能,依據應記錄的資料使記錄層的化學 狀態乃至物理狀態發生變化。 第3圖是槪略方式表示,一般的光記錄媒體之一種的 CD — RW的構造的截面圖。 經濟部智慈財產局員工消費合作社印製 如第3圖所示,C D - R W是由厚度1 . 2 m ιώ的光 透過層1、厚度50〜150n m的第1電介質層2、厚 度10〜50n m的記錄層3、厚度20〜50 n m的第 2電介質層4、厚度9 0〜1 5 0 n m的反射層5、厚度 5〜1 0 μ m的保護層6 ,所構成。同時,在碟片的中心部 分設有孔7。一般的光透過層1是由聚碳酸酯構成,記錄 層3則由A g I n S b 丁 e 、G e S b T e等的相變化材 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS ) A4規格(2】OX 297公釐) -4> 1240926 A7 B7 五、發明説明(2 ) (讀先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 料構成,反射層5由鋁合金或銀合金構成,保護層6由丙 烯樹脂等的紫外線硬化型樹脂構成。而,第1及第2電介 質層2、4的材料有S i〇2、Al2〇3等的金屬氧化物 ’ A 1 N、T 1 N等的氮化物,Z n S等的硫化物,及其 他碳化物等,而使用這些的單體或混合物。 製作具有這種架構的C D - R W時,首先,使用壓模 射出成形具有前置凹槽(Pre groove)的光透過層1 ,接著 ’在光透過層1中之形成有前置凹槽的面,以濺射法順序 形成第1電介質層2、記錄層3、第2電介質層4、反射 層5。而以旋轉塗抹法在反射層5的表面塗抹紫外線硬化 型樹脂,令其硬化,藉此形成保護層6。如此製成由光透 過層1、第1電介質層2,記錄層3、第2電介質層4、 反射層5及保護層6構成的C D - R W。 構成記錄層3的相變化材料因爲是結晶相時或非結晶 相時其光透過率有異,可利用此現象記錄數位資料。 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 近年來一直在嘗試,使記錄及/或再生用的雷射光束 會聚用的物鏡的開口數(N A )爲〇 . 7以上,例如加大 到0 · 8 5前後,同時,使記錄及/或再生用的雷射光束 的波長λ縮短到4 0 0 n m前後,藉以使雷射光束會聚光 點徑變小,以記錄大容量的數位資料。如此高N A化時, 光記錄媒體的扭曲或傾斜的允許度,亦即,傾斜邊際(ti】t margin )會變小,因此,爲了確保有充分的傾斜邊際,光透 過層(光透過性基板)的厚度必須更薄。例如,設定爲 N A = 0 · 8 5 、久=4〇5 n m時,要確保充分的傾斜 本纸張尺度適财SS家標準(CNS ) A规格(210X 297公釐)~一 ^ 1240926 經濟部智葸財產局員工消費合作社印製 kl B7 五、發明説明(3 ) 邊際,光透過層的厚度被要求薄到1 〇 Ομηΐ前後。 然而,光透過層的厚度在1 〇 〇 μ m前後時,如傳統方 式以聚碳酸酯等的射出成形法成形時,便會產生無法確保 充分的機械強度的問題。 爲了解決這個問題,有人建議在由聚碳酸酯等構成的 基板上,順序形成反射層、電介質層,記錄層、電介質層 及光透過層,藉此製成光透過層被薄膜化的光記錄媒體的 方法。採這種方法時,首先,使用壓模射出成形具有前置 凹槽的基板,接著,在基板的表面中的形成有前置凹槽的 面’以濺射法順序形成反射層、第2電介質層,記錄層、 第1電介質層。然後,在第1電介質層的表面藉由旋轉塗 抹法形成紫外線硬化型樹脂,而形成光透過層。 如此製成的光記錄媒體可以從基板的相反側射入記錄 及/或再生用的雷射光束,可以使基板有充分大的厚度。 因此,使用這種型式的光記錄媒體時,可以一面充分保持 基板的機械強度,同時可以利用高N A的光記錄媒體用記 錄頭。利用高N A的光記錄媒體用記錄頭時,可以將記錄 及/或再生用的雷射光束的光點會聚成非常小的光點,因 此可以將光記錄媒體的軌道間距或凹槽寬度縮小到較一般 的C D - R W小很多。 然而,在光透過層被薄膜化到1 0 0 μ m前後,以高 N A的光記錄媒體用記錄頭進行資料的記錄及/或再生的 光記錄媒體,卻有較之傳統的光記錄媒體,容易受到存在 於光射入面表面的傷痕影響的問題。 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS ) A4規格(2丨〇Χ 297公釐) 七- (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁)

Ag I nSbTeGe膜,藉此形成厚度5〜3〇nm的 記錄層1 4 (步驟S 4 )。接著,以濺射法在記錄層1 4 上形成ZnS — S i〇2膜,藉此形成厚度30〜 3 0 0 n m的第1電介質層1 5 (步驟S 5 )。 然後’以旋轉塗抹法在第1電介質層1 5的表面塗抹 本纸張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS ) A4規格(210X297公釐)·14- 1240926 A7 _ B7 五、發明説明(12 ) (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 紫外線硬化型樹脂,照射紫外線使其硬化,藉此形成厚度 50〜Ι50μπι的光透過層16 (步驟S6)。在此,構 成光透過層1 6的紫外線硬化型樹脂最好是使用上述材料 ’最好是使用依比重法的硬化收縮率在7 %以下者。如此 ’依比重法的硬化收縮率在7 %以下時,縱使紫外線硬化 型樹脂的厚度在5 Ομπι以上,實質上不會產生因紫外線硬 化引起的光記錄媒體的扭曲。依比重法的硬化收縮率在7 %以下的紫外線硬化型樹脂在硬化後的鉛筆硬度大致上是 Η Β以下。 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 而再以旋轉塗抹法在光透過層1 6的表面塗抹由紫外 線硬化型樹脂及溶劑形成的硬罩液,使用平板型加熱器使 硬罩液內所含的溶劑蒸發後,照射紫外線使紫外線硬化型 樹脂硬化,藉此形成厚度0 · 1〜1 〇 μ m的硬罩層1 7 ( 步驟S 7 )。在此,構成硬罩層1 7的紫外線硬化型樹脂 最好是使用上述材料,最好是如上述添加有無機粉末或有 機粉末。並且,最好是如上述添加潤滑劑、防止帶電劑及 分散劑的的一種或一種以上。如此則可完成本實施形態的 光記錄媒體1 0。 如上述,以這種方法製成的光記錄媒體1 0,因爲光 射入面覆蓋有硬度很高的,因此可以有效防止發生在光射 入面的傷痕,同時,因硬罩層1 7的鉛筆硬度設定在HB 以下,因此可以有效抑止因硬化收縮引起的光記錄媒體 1 0的扭曲。 本發明不限定如以上的實施形態,可以在申請專利範 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS ) A4規格(210X 297公釐) -15- 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 1240926 A7 五、發明説明(13 ) 圍所記載的發明的範圍內作各種變更,當然該等變更也是 包含在本發明的範圍內。 例如,上述實施形態所示的構成光記錄媒體1 〇的各 層的材料及厚度只是本發明的一個例子,本發明並不限定 如此。因此,上述實施形態是就將本發明應用在記錄層 1 4是相變化材料構成的可改寫型的光記錄媒體時的情形 進行說明,但本發明也可以應用在記錄層由有機色素等構 成的追記型光記錄媒體,同時也可以應用在,藉由在製造 階段形成在基板1 1的前置坑洞(pre pit)保持資訊的 R〇Μ型光記錄媒體。亦即。本發明只要是記錄及再生所 用的雷射光束的光路的光透過層的材料是使用紫外線硬化 型樹脂型式的光記錄媒體,則不問光記錄媒體的型式均可 適用。再者,在追記型光記錄媒體,形成在基板上的反射 層及有機色素等構成的記錄層等構成功能層,ROM型光 記錄媒體,則由形成在基板上的反射層等構成功能層。 如以上所說明,在本發明,因爲在由鉛筆硬度小硬化 收縮率小的紫外線硬化型樹脂形成的光透過層1 6的表面 設有硬罩層,因此可以一面抑制光記錄媒體1 〇發生扭曲 ’同時可以有效防止在光射入面發生傷痕。因此,依據本 發明時’可以大幅度提高光透過層薄膜化的型式的光記錄 媒體的品質。 實施例 調整由環氧丙烯酸齊聚物(epoxy acrylate ongomer, 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS) μ規格(2】0>< 297公釐) (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁)
