¥ 一 本發明係關於一光纖電纜之終端或波導管。本發明係更 特別關於一可就地(戰地)修護之中性連接器終端。
現今,快速且保密之通信管制係形成力量。因此,保密 通仏線路係成高價產品。進而沒有比戰場更需耍保密通信 。通信線路係傳遞資料以協調各單元,通信線路係可傳遞 後勤 > 料。通信線路係傳遞敵軍目標位置資料。通信線路 係傳遞武器人員戰略與戰術部署資料。一旦通信中斷,其 結果係不勘設想。由歷史經驗得知,有效之通信係軍事交 戰成功之關鍵因素。 往曰,通仏係不能用單一線路保密,而係藉無線電波廣 播。為防止通信内容使他人知曉,通信係必須加密。而後 訂
再由接受者解密方能得知通信内容。在戰史中係充滿加密 通信遭破解之範例。 其他已發展之保密通信方法係如用專用電纜。該電纜係 可分接或利用其電場感應另一電氣裝置中之電流而遭監 聽。 通信線路之其他問題係資料傳遞速度慢而且量也有限, 跟無通信沒什麼不同。此外,現代裝置需要係即使數據增 加亦能正確操作之裝置。因此係需要數據通信傳遞裝置, 该裝置係可於每一單位時間内傳遞大量資訊,即具有較大 之頻寬。 在現代戰場中,一指揮中心藉保密通信電欖與戰車及砲 兵部隊相連係可想見。為克服前述問題,係發展用光纖電 -4 - ί紙張尺度適财國@家標準(CNS) A4規格(細^的公爱) — 542928 A7 B7 五、發明説明(2 )- "一' ,纖# 4軍用通信。光纖電纜係一安全高碳鋼絲之通信線路 °光纖私境係不像電線易遭分接,因光信號係不會如導 電之電線一樣感應電磁場。而且,光纖電纜係具較大頻宽 ’即其可於每一單位時間内傳遞大量資訊。光纖電纜終端 裝置係包招:一形成光束擴展連接器之鏡片。光束擴展連接 裔之優點係可容忍二終端裝置接頭間之環境污染。在實作 中’鏡片係擴展光纖中之光束。鄰近終端裝置之其他鏡片 係接收Μ擴展之光束並使之聚焦成小光點,而後引入至其 他光纖電境中。當少量污物阻礙部份擴展之光信號時,通 k係不會文阻《因此,該擴展光束終端裝置係達成戰地通 信裝置之需求。 但擴展光束終端裝置係具有一缺點,即其插入損耗甚高 。插入損耗高係由光束擴展引起。該擴展光束係會部份散 開或損失,因此,信號係會在每一終端裝置接頭之損失功 率s。插入損耗係會阻礙光纖電纜之統調,因信號係會在最 後光纖電纜處損失,即無可用光能自該光纖電纜射出。因 此彳°號發射與仏號接收裝置間之距離係受限制,除非在 發射與接收裝置間之光纖電纜連接昂貴,笨重,功率增強 之中繼裝備。 擴展光束連接器終端裝置之其他缺點係當終端裝置因環 境或其他污物弄髒時,裝置就難以清洗及/或安裝。因此, 於有更換光纖電纜可用時,整條光纖電纜即必須更換。 而且,在戰場係需要以簡單方式耦合該二終端裝置。簡 化係一重要之設計特性,因士兵需在黑暗中耦合該二終端 -5- 542928 A7 B7 五、發明説明(3 ) 裝置。在戰場中係也需要該終端裝置結構堅固,以承受在 軍車中之衝撞,火藥爆炸之衝擊及自然環境災害之損壞。 但即使在平時,戰場上之嚴格要求係需要一具或多具終端 裝置執行修理或更換。 因此係需要一堅固,可在戰地修護之終端裝置,且於與 其他終端裝置結合時,應具有低插入損失及易於在戰場中 與其他終端裝置連接。 發明概述 因此本發明之一標的係提供一供光纖用之終端裝置,該 裝置係堅固及易於修理。 本發明更進一步之標的係提供一可在戰場盲目結合之終 端裝置。 本發明另一標的係提供一終端裝置,該裝置與其他終端 裝置結合時具有低插入損失。 本發明另一標的係提供一終端裝置,該裝置係中性。 本發明另一標的係提供一終端裝置,該裝置之製造與組 合成本低。 本發明另一標的係提供一終端裝置,該裝置係防撞。 本發明另一標的係提供一工具,供修理本發明終端裝置 用。 在本發明,該中性終端裝置係包括一外殼及一塞式嵌入 件,該嵌入件可自一外殼前端拆下與插入外殼。該外殼係 具有一前端及嚙合結構自該前端突出。該嚙合結構係具有 鎖固孔。該嚙合結構係大致與另一外殼前端上之嚙合結構 -6- 本纸張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS) A4規格(210X 297公釐) 542928 A7 B7 五、發明説明(4 ) 相同。該塞式嵌入件係自該外殼前端進入該外殼。該塞式 嵌入件進一步具有光學連接器接納埠,供接納光纖總成用 。每一光纖總成係各具有一套環,一光纖係連接至該套環 。該塞式嵌入件係具有一第一表面及一大致呈圓形之表面 。該大致呈圓形之表面係大致垂直於該第一表面。該塞式 嵌入件係具有節塊配置在該大致呈圓形之表面上,供與該 外殼鎖固孔嚙合用。該塞式嵌入件之第一表面係具有一第 一套環孔及一第二套環孔。該第一套環孔係具有一自該第 一表面突出之塞式嵌入件延長部份。該第二套環孔之尺寸 係可接納另一塞式嵌入件之延長部份。該第一光學連接器 接納埠係與該第二套環孔相通,及該第二光學接納埠係與 該第一套環孔相通。 訂
