Bu bulus, ardisik sivi yüklerine maruz kaldiklarinda sivi alim hizlarini muhafaza eden veya arttiran emici esyalara iliskindir. Sivi alim hizlarinin ölçülmesi için bir test yöntemi anlatilmistir. Bulus ayrica, bosaltilan sulu vücut sivilarinin emilmesi için faydali olan ve asagidakileri içeren bir emici esyaya iliskindir: A) sivi geçirgen bir üst tabaka; B) bir arka tabaka; ve C) üst tabaka ve arka tabaka arasinda konumlandirilan emici bir iç kisim; emici iç kisim (1) sulu vücut sivilariyla temas ettiginde z-dogrultusunda genisleyebilen en azindan bir üst sivi depolayici bileseni; (2) sulu vücut sivilarini alabilen sivi alici bir bölgeyi; (3) sulu vücut sivilarini alabilen ve tasiyabilen sivi alici/dagitici bir bileseni; ve (4) tercihen sivi alici/dagitici bilesenin asagisinda konumlandirilan en azindan bir alt sivi depolayici bileseni içerir.
