The sofa bed is part of a living room or lounge furniture set and can be sold in various combinations, for example, as a single item—just a sofa bed with cushions—or as a set—a sofa bed with armchairs. The sofa bed based on the design is marketed under the trade name BAJKA. The essence of the industrial design is the new spatial arrangement of the individual elements that make up the sofa bed, manifested in their shape, line layout, and color scheme, aimed at achieving aesthetic goals. The industrial design is illustrated in the photographs and drawings attached to the application. Photograph 1 shows the sofa bed from the front; 2 shows the sofa bed from the back; 3 shows the sofa bed from the side; and 4 shows the sofa bed in the unfolded position. Figure fig. 1 shows the sofa bed from the front; fig. 2 shows the sofa bed from the back; fig. 3 shows the sofa bed from the side. The sofa bed according to the industrial design consists of: a seat - fig. 1 A and fig. 3 B, a backrest - fig. 1 C or fig. 3 D, a back wall - fig. 2 E, and a bedding box - fig. 1 F and fig. 1 G, which constitutes the base of the sofa bed. Additional elements of the sofa bed are two pillows - fig. 1 H and fig. 3 I. The seat has the shape of a horizontally arranged cuboid - fig. 1 J, which in its main part is a plane and is 4/6 of the entire length of the sofa bed, while the left and right sides of the seat fig. 1 K have been emphasized with their intended use in mind. This convex section, which comprises 1/6 of the left and 1/6 of the right side, serves as a headrest. The main part of the seat is made of a patterned textile material – photo fig. 1, similar to the drawing. The side parts of the seat, referred to above as headrests, are made of an unpatterned textile material – photo fig. 1, similar to the drawing, but in the same color as the patterned textile material. The headrests are slightly raised relative to the main surface of the seat, and their upper surface has an arched shape. In the lower part of the seat, the entire front and side edges are trimmed with a runner, which has been sewn into the textile material without a pattern. This creates a decorative element in the shape of a cylinder with a diameter of several centimeters (Fig. 1 L and similarly, photograph Fig. 1). The backrest is a mirror image of the seat, and all the proportions and color combinations of its components are identical to those of the sofa bed. The back panel of the sofa bed (Fig. 1 E and photograph Fig. 2) is rectangular and made of a different type of textile material than the other components. The back panel begins at the base of the sofa and ends at its top, i.e., the back of the backrest under the runner (Fig. 2). The side panels of the sofa's back wall are connected to the side panels in the shape of triangles, which fit snugly against the back of the backrest and extend several centimeters onto the back wall (fig. 3 L). The bedding box (fig. 1 F and fig. 3 G) serves as the sofa's support structure. Automatic hinges for unfolding the sofa are attached to its shorter sides (from the inside of the box). The entire box is upholstered on the outside with a plain textile material in the same color as the patterned textile material. The box's support structure consists of four chrome-plated metal feet (fig. 1 M and fig. 2 N), shaped like low rings with anti-slip rubber inserts mounted inside. The feet are mounted under the bedding box in its corners. The cushions as an additional element for the sofa bed – Fig. 1 H and Fig. 3 I – are rectangular in shape with an elliptical cross-section. They are made of two different types of textile materials. One side is a patterned textile material, while the other side is a plain textile material – Fig. 1. The left and right sides of the seat are convex for their intended purpose. This convexity, constituting 1/6 of the left and 1/6 of the right side, serves as a headrest. The main part of the seat is made of patterned textile, while the side sections, referred to above as headrests, are made of plain textile, but in the same color as the patterned textile. In the lower part of the seat, the entire front of the seat and the side edges are trimmed with a quilt, which is sewn into the plain textile, creating a decorative element in the shape of a cylinder, several centimeters in diameter, attached to the front and lower side edges of the seat and backrest. The entire outside of the box is upholstered in plain textile material in the same color as the patterned material. The load-bearing element of the box are four chrome-plated metal feet in the form of low rings inside which are mounted rubber anti-slip inserts. The feet are mounted under the bedding box in its corners. The cushions, as an additional element of the sofa bed, are rectangular in shape with an elliptical cross-section. They are made of two different types of textile materials. One side is a patterned textile material, while the other side is a plain textile material.
