Abstract

Se proporcionan nanoparticulas lipidicas (LNPs) para suministrar un acido nucleico a un primate; el cual comprende: i) un acido nucleico, o una sal farmaceuticamente aceptable del mismo, encapsulado dentro de la LNP; ii) un lipido cationico; iii) un lipido neutro; iv) un esteroide; y v) un lipido conjugado con polimero de estructura P-L(R´)(R") en donde P es un polimero de polietilenglicol; L es un enlazador trivalente de 1 a 15 atomos de longitud; y R' y R'' son cada uno, independientemente, un alquilo saturado que tiene de 8 a 14 atomos de carbono; ademas, la pluralidad de LNPs tiene un diametro de particula medio que varia entre 40 nm y 70 nm. Dichas LNPs tienen propiedades mejoradas y son utiles para facilitar la administracion intracelular de agentes terapeuticos, como acidos nucleicos (oligonucleotidos, ARN mensajero), a primates, incluidos los humanos.
