UN PROCESO PARA LA EXTRACCIÓN DE UN METAL PRECIOSO, TAL COMO ORO O PLATA, DE UN MINERAL O CONCENTRADO DE SULFURO U OTRO MATERIAL DE ORIGEN QUE COMPRENDE SOMETER EL MATERIAL DE ORIGEN A OXIDACIÓN A PRESIÓN PARA PRODUCIR UNA SUSPENSIÓN DE OXIDACIÓN A PRESIÓN. LA SUSPENSIÓN DE OXIDACIÓN A PRESIÓN ES FLAMEADA EN FORMA DESCENDENTE A UNA TEMPERATURA Y PRESIÓN INFERIORES Y LUEGO SE SOMETE A UNA SEPARACIÓN LÍQUIDO- SÓLIDO PARA OBTENER UNA SOLUCIÓN DE OXIDACIÓN A PRESIÓN Y UN RESIDUO SÓLIDO QUE CONTIENE EL METAL PRECIOSO. EL RESIDUO SÓLIDO ES LUEGO SOMETIDO A CIANURACIÓN PARA EXTRAER EL METAL PRECIOSO.LA FORMACIÓN DE TIOCIANURO DURANTE LA CIANURACION ES MNIMIZADA O CONTRARRESTADA EFECTUANDO LA CIANURACIÓN A UNA PRESIÓN DE OXÍGENO ELEVADA Y UN PERIODO DE RETENCIÓN REDUCIDO, TAL COMO 30 A 90 MINUTOS.
