DICHO PROCESO COMPRENDE: a) CONTACTAR UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE LIXIVIACION DE TIOSULFATO AMONIACAL, QUE CONTIENE METALES PRECIOSOS TAL COMO ORO Y PLATA, CON UN REACTIVO DE EXTRACCION QUE INCLUYE GRUPOS QUE TIENEN RADICAL GUANIDILO O AMINA CUATERNARIA MEZCLADA CON UN ACIDO ORGANICO DEBIL, DURANTE UN TIEMPO SUFICIENTE PARA EXTRAER LOS METALES PRECIOSOS DE DICHA SOLUCION ACUOSA; b) AGREGAR UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE SEPARACION O UNA SOLUCION CAUSTICA, QUE CONTIENE DE 25 ppm A 2200 ppm DE ION CIANURO, EN UNA CANTIDAD SUFICIENTE PARA SEPARAR LOS METALES PRECIOSOS DEL REACTIVO DE EXTRACCION Y MANTENERLOS EN LA SOLUCION; Y, c) RECUPERAR EL METAL PRECIOSO DE LA SOLUCION ACUOSA DEL PASO (b) POR METODOS CONVENCIONALES TAL COMO ELECTROLISIS
