Alfa-amiderende enzym er produsert ved rekombinante DNA-teknikker, og kan isoleres med høyt utbytte og høy renhet. Både eukaryote og prokaryote ekspresjonsvek-torer er tilveiebragt ved en transkripsjonen promoter etterfulgt nedstrøms av en DNA-sekvens som koder for amlderende enzym. Vektoren kan lede ekspresjon av polypeptider 1 verten, og foretrukne verter blir transfektert med de beskrevne vektorene.
