Description
(Se US Patent nr. 5,362,634, nedenfor).

Slike gummier er beskrevet i US patent nr. 5,292,504 (over).

a) fra 0,1% til 10% av et spinosyn, eller et fysiologisk akseptabelt derivat eller salt derav; b) fra 5% til 30% av et syntetisk overflateaktivt middel;
c) fra 1% til 7% av et amid; og
d) vann.
Disse typene av geltypeformuleringer er generelt beskrevet i de følgende dokumentene: Barry, "The Seif Bodying Action of the Mixed Emulsifier Sodium Docecyl Sulfate/Cetyl Alcohol", J. of Colloid and Interface Science, 28, 82-91
(1968); Barry et al, "The Seif Bodying Action of Alkyltrimetylammonium Bromides/Cetosteraryl Alcohol Mixed Emuslifiers; Influence of Quarternary Chain Length", J. of Colloid and Interface Science, 35, 689-708 (1971); og Barry et al, "Rheology of Systems Containing Cetomacrogo/1000- (Cetostrearyl alcohol), I. Self-Bodying Action", J. of Colloid and Interface Science, 38, 616-625 (1972).
Nyttige fettalkoholer er kjente (se for eksempel US patent nr. 3,155,591, over; US patent nr. 4,165,369 (Watanabe et al., meddelt 26. mai 1981); Britisk patentskrift 1,532,585, meddelt 15. november 1978; Fukushima et al, "The Effect of Cetostrearyl Alcohol in Cosmetic Emulsions", Cosmetics & Toileteris, 98, 89-102 (1983); og Hunting, Encyclopedia of Conditioning Rinse Ingredients, at 204 (1987).
Disse kationiske overflateaktive midlene er kjente innenfor fagområdet (se McCutcheon's Detergents & Emusifiers, over; Schwartz et al, Surface Active Agents, Their Chemistry and Technology, New York: Interscience Publishers, 1949; US patent nr. 3,155,591, over: US patent nr. 3,929,678 (Laughlin et al., meddelt 30. desember 1975); US patent nr. 3,959,461 (Bailey et al, meddelt 25. mai 1976); og US patent nr. 4,387,090 (Bolich, Jr., meddelt 7. juni 1983).
Eksempler inkluderer ditalgdimetylammoniumklorid, ditalg-dimetylammoniummetylsulfat, diheksadesyldimetylammoniumklorid, di(hydrogenert talg)dimetylammoniumklorid, diokadesyldimetylammoniumklorid, dieikosyldimetyl ammoniumklorid, didokosyldimetylammoniumklorid, di(hydrogenert talg) dimetyl ammoniumacetat, diheksadesyldimetylammoniumklorid, diheksadesyldimetyl ammoniumacetat, ditalgpropylammoniumfosfat, ditalgdimetylammoniumnitrat, di(kokosnøttalkyl) dimetylammoniumklorid, og stearyldimetylbenzylammoniumklorid.
For eksempel er flyktige silikoner, organosilikonpolymerer i vann-alkoholblandinger, og flyktige silikonfluider beskrevet i US patent nr. 5,292,502 over.
Nyttige dimetikonkopolyoler er også beskrevet i US patent nr. 5,292,504, over.
Slike komponenter inkluderer ytterligere overflateaktive midler, salter, buffere, fortykningsmidler, løsningsmidler, matning-midler, perlemorseffektshjelpemidler, konserveringsmidler, duftmidler, fargestoffer, farger, pigmenter, gelatorer, solskjermende midler, vitaminer og medisinske midler.
Valgfrie overflateaktive materialer er beskrevet i McCutcheon's Detergents & Emulsifiers, over: Schwartz et al, over; og US patent nr. 3,929,678 over.
Behandling av menneskehår for å drepe og lette fjerning av lus og deres egg ved hårpleieformuleringene ifølge oppfinnelsen,, omfatter trinnene: a) å påføre fra 10 g til 30 g av en formulering ifølge denne oppfinnelsen til det våte håret; b) å arbeide formuleringen inn i håret og hodebunnen;
Lotionformuleringer kan inkludere valgfrie komponenter for å tilveiebringe fordeler for håret i tillegg til antilusaktiviteten. Valgfrie komponenter inkluderer: • konserveringsmidler og antimikrobielle midler, slik som DMDM hydantoin og tetranatrium EDTA; • pH balanserende midler, slik som natriumsitrat og sitronsyre;

("Johnson's ® Baby Sjampoo, Moisutrizing Formula with Honey and Vitamin E, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products, Inc.) for å danne en 10% beholdning spinosad/sjampoblanding.
The American Society for Testing and Materials, 100 Barr Harbor Drive, West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, USA.
