Abstract

Glassbelagt høyaksialstrømningsskovl innbefatter et nav og tilfestede blader. Navet har et sentrisk lokalisert hull, hvor hullet har en senterakse. Skovlen har et flertall av vinkler og kanter, alle av hvilke har en avrundet utforming for å tillate glassering. Skovlen innbefatter videre minst to variable stigningsblader. Hvert blad har fremre og bakre overflater begge dannet ved en innvendig kant med en førende ende og en bakre ende, en utvendig kant med en førende ende og en bakre ende, en førende kant som forbinder den førende enden av den innvendige kanten til den førende enden av den utvendige kanten og en bakre kant som forbinder den bakre enden av den innvendige kanten til den bakre enden av den utvendige kanten. Den utvendige kanten til hvert blad er fra omkring 1,5 til 2,5 ganger lengden av den innvendige kanten. Bladene er symmetrisk festet til navet ved deres innvendige kanter; slik at, deres innvendige kanter er ved en vinkel på fra omkring 45 til omkring 60° fra senteraksen av det tilfestede navet og deres utvendige kanter er ved en vinkel på fra omkring 50. til omkring 70° fra senteraksen av nevnte nav. Vinkelen av de innvendige kantene til senteraksen av nevnte nav er fra omkring 6 til omkring 12° mindre enn vinkelen av de utvendige kantene til senteraksen.
