Abstract

Se describe una placa de matricula iluminada (10) para vehiculos que comprende una guia de luz (12) que tiene caras delantera y trasera principales opuestas (14, 16) y caras laterales (18, 20, 22, 24) entre las mismas, y una fuente de luz alargada (26) colocada a lo largo de por lo menos una porcion de al menos una de las caras laterales (20) de la guia de luz (12) para iluminar la guia de luz (12). Ademas, la placa de matricula iluminada (10) comprende una pelicula retrorreflexiva transmisiva de luz (50) y los indicios (56, 58), en donde la pelicula retrorreflexiva transmisiva de luz (50) y los indicios (56, 58) se colocan enfrente de la cara delantera (14) de la guia de luz (12).
