Abstract

La invencion provee composiciones y metodos para reducir las emisiones de Nox del gas de combustion de una unidad (10) de craqueo catalitico fluido (FCC). La invencion provee tambien metodos para reducir las emisiones de CO del regenerador (2) y/o el gas de combustion de una unidad FCC. Las composiciones (4) de la invencion comprenden cobre y/o cobalto y un portador. El portador puede ser, por ejemplo, compuestos parecidos a hidrotalcita, espinelas, alumina, titanato de zinc, aluminato de zinc, titanato de zinc/aluminato de zinc, y similares.
