Abstract

La invencion proporciona un material biocompatible derivado de queratina que es util para muchos aspectos del tratamiento medico de hueso. El material de queratina esta de manera preferente S-sulfonado y enriquecido en proteinas de filamento intermedio de alto peso molecular. El material que queratina puede ser poroso para el uso como un producto de reemplazo y aumento de hueso pero tambien proporciona el uso del material denso de queratina en el tratamiento de hueso el uso como un aparato interno de fijacion en el tratamiento de fracturas de hueso y regeneracion de hueso, y el metodo para tratar el material de queratina para el uso en la conservacion, restauracion y desarrollo de la forma y funcion del hueso.
