Abstract
Se proporciona un aparato de hidroconformacion que incluye placas gruesas superior e inferior que se conectan juntas por tirantes de traccion que se extienden a traves de tubos de compresion respectivos. Una seccion de troquel superior es transportada sobre la placa gruesa superior generalmente por un brazo de suspension en forma de C, mientras que la seccion de troquel inferior es transportada sobre la placa gruesa inferior. Las secciones de troquel superior e inferior tienen areas rebajadas que se forman sobre las mismas que definen una cavidad de troquel. Los montajes de elevacion se proporcionan sobre los extremos laterales del aparato de hidroconformacion para elevar selectivamente la seccion de troquel inferior hacia arriba en acoplamiento con la seccion de troquel superior. Cuando la seccion de troquel inferior se eleva por los montajes de elevacion, se encierra una pieza de trabajo dentro de la cavidad de troquel. Despues se mueve un bloque sujetador entre el troquel de hidroconformacion y la placa gruesa inferior. Un arreglo de cilindro que contiene una pluralidad de pistones despues se acciona hidraulicamente para sujetar de manera segura al troquel de hidroconformacion entre el arreglo de cilindro y la placa gruesa inferior. Mientras se acciona el arreglo de cilindro, se suministra fluido presurizado dentro de la pieza de trabajo, deformandola para que se adapte a la cavidad del troquel.
