Abstract
Un profármaco de trovafloxacina que tiene la formula (I): que se selecciona entre su polimorfo PII y el monohidrato PII.M y el pseudomorfo PIII.PS del mismo y procedimientos para su preparacion; se describen el polimorfo PII y el monohidrato PII.M y psudomorfo PIII.PS del mismo; la invencion se refiere además al uso de los mismos en la preparacion composiciones farmacéuticas que comprenden los compuestos de la invencion, para el tratamiento de infecciones bacterianas en mamíferos, y las composiciones que los contienen.
