Abstract
La presente invencion proporciona un rodillo de acero de alta velocidad, de alta calidad, el cual es notablemente excelente en cuanto a su resistencia a la abrasion y libre de separacion de carburo incluso en el caso de produccion por fundicion centrífuga, de beneficio economico. Se proporciona un rodillo de laminado en caliente el cual está caracterizado porque el rodillo comprende una capa exterior que contiene, todos en relaciones en peso, C; 2.4-2.9%, Si; no más de 1%, Mn; no más de 1%, Cr; 12-18%, Mo; 3-9%, V; 3-8% y Nb; 0.5-4% y que satisface las siguientes ecuaciones (1) y (2), a la vez, 0.27 <-Mo (%)/Cr (%) <- 0.7 (1) C(%) + 0.2 -Cr (5) <- 6.2 (2) la capa exterior contiene además el resto de Fe e impurezas inevitables.
