Abstract

Un método para determinar cuantitativamente colesterol de lipoproteínas de alta densidad, caracterizado porque, antes de la determinacion de colesterol por un método enzimático, un agente tensioactivo y una substancia que forma un complejo con lipoproteínas distintas a las lipoproteínas de alta densidad se añade a una muestra que contiene lipoproteínas, el método no requiere ningun pretratamiento tal como separacion por centrífuga; con una operacion sencilla, el colesterol en HDL se puede medir de manera efectiva; también este método puede ser adaptado en una variedad de analizadores automatizados y por lo tanto es muy util en el campo de pruebas clínicas.
