Abstract

Cerámica de nitruro de silicio, resistente a las temperaturas elevadas y procedimiento para su obtención. Una pieza de nitruro de silicio vitrificado posee una alta resistencia mecánica y contienen por lo menos un 87 en peso de nitruro de silicio y hasta un 13 en peso de una combinación de aditivos que contiene Al2O3 e Y2O3. La proporción ponderal entre el Y2O3 y el Al2O3 se sitúa en el intervalo comprendido entre 1,1 y 3,4. Además pueden estar presentes el HfO2 y/o el ZrO2 en cantidades del 1,0 en peso como máximo.
