Abstract

Un sistema de control de acondicionamiento/refrigeración de aire, a base de microprocesador, adaptado para utilizarse con un compresor de velocidad variable, mide la aceleración del compresor y la temperatura o presión del refrigerante existente desde el mismo, determina la velocidad de cambio de la temperatura o presión del refrigerante, y disminuye la aceleración del compresor si la velocidad de cambio de la temperatura o presión del fluido de trabajo indican sobretensión del compresor. El sobrecalor del refrigerante se mantiene a un primer nivel predeterminado mientras que el compresor funciona a velocidad constante y se aumenta a un segundo nivel predefinido superior, mientras que el compresor se acelera. El sistema es capaz de diagnosticar la deterioración del compresor midiendo y comparando la entrada de potencia al compresor y la velocidad de cambio de la temperatura o presión del refrigerante, en el compresor, entre los períodos inicial y subsecuente, y diferenciar entre la deterioración de un componente de impulsión o un componente de presurización del compresor.
