Abstract

Un método para almacenar y recuperar o desplazar contenedores en almacenes de gran altura de una instalación de transferencia, en particular de un puerto marítimo o puerto interior, en donde los contenedores son transportados y almacenados y recuperados o desplazados, por unidades de almacenamiento y recuperación que pueden desplazarse en pasillos que se extiende paralelos a los compartimentos del almacén de gran altura, dichos compartimentos están dispuestos en un número de niveles en módulos de almacenamiento. La intención es crear, para este tipo de almacenes de gran altura , un método y un aparato que reducen el uso de medios de transporte y, con el almacén de gran altura que sea de construcción estrecha, haciendo posible que cualquier contenedor individual pueda ser accedido incluso por apiladores de piso continuo. Para este propósito, soportes telescópicos elevables y abatibles de la unidad de almacenamiento y recuperación se utilizan para almacenar los contenedores telescópicamente, con sus lados longitudinales en frente, en los compartimentos desde una posición de transporte, en la que dichos contenedores preferiblemente no se proyectan más allá del contorno exterior periférico de la unidad de almacenamiento y recuperación, y para eliminarlos de la misma y el desplazarlos de manera telescópica de nuevo en la posición de transporte en la unidad de almacenamiento y recuperación.
