Abstract
Se proporciona un método para producir hidrato de 5-hidroxi-1H-imidazol-4-carboxamida3/4, que comprende: un paso en donde 2-aminomalonamida es reaccionada con un compuesto representado por la fórmula general (1) (en donde cada R representa independientemente un grupo alquilo C1-3) en la presencia de un ácido carboxílico para obtener 5-hidroxi-1H-imidazol-4-carboxamida; un paso en donde la 5-hidroxi-1H-imidazol-4-carboxamida así obtenida es reaccionada con un compuesto ácido para obtener una sal de ácido 5-hidroxi-1H-imidazol-4-carboxamida o un hidrato de la misma; y un paso en donde la sal de ácido 5-hidroxi-1H-imidazol-4-carboxami da así obtenida o un hidrato de la misma es reaccionada con una sal en la presencia de un solvente ácido.
