Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una variante de glucoamilasa, caracterizada porque comprende una sustitución en al menos una posición correspondiente a la posición 79 del polipéptido maduro de la SEQ ID NO: 2, en donde la variante tiene o presenta actividad glucoamilasa, y en donde la variante se selecciona del grupo que consiste entre: a) un polipéptido que tiene o presenta al menos 85% de identidad secuencial respecto al polipéptido maduro de la SEQ ID NO: 2, b) un polipéptido codificado por un polinucleótido que presenta al menos 85% de identidad secuencial respecto al polipéptido maduro que codifica la secuencia de la SEQ ID NO: 1; y c) un fragmento del polipéptido maduro de la SEQ ID NO: 2, el cual presenta actividad glucoamilasa.
