Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un polipéptido aislado caracterizado porque tiene actividad de celobiohidrolasa, seleccionado del grupo que consiste en: (a) un polipéptido que tiene a la menos 90% de identidad de secuencia con la secuencia de los aminoácidos 26 a 532 de SEQ ID NO: 4, (b) un polipéptido codificado por un polinucleótido que hibrida bajo condiciones de alta severidad con el complemento de longitud completa de la secuencia de los nucleótidos 76 a 1 596 de SEQ ID NO: 3 o la secuencia de ADNc del mismo, en donde las condiciones de alta severidad se definen como pre-hibridación e hibridación a 42°C en 5xSSPE, 0.3% de SDS, 200 µg/ml de DN de esperma de salmón cortado y desnaturalizado, y 50% de formamida, siguiendo procedimientos de transferencia de Southern estándares durante 12 a 24 horas, seguido por lavado tres veces cada uno durante 15 minutos usando 2xSSC, 0.2% de SDS a 65°C; y (c) un fragmento de la secuencia de los aminoácidos 26 a 532 de SEQ ID NO: 4 que tiene actividad de celobiohidrolasa.
