Abstract
Un método para recuperar metales valiosos, tales como plomo, plata y oro a partir del residuo de un proceso electrolítico de zinc, en donde el residuo del proceso de zinc se suspende y sulfura para convertir los compuestos de plomo y plata en forma sulfídica, y hacerlos flotar luego para formar un concentrado de flotación que contiene metales valiosos, en donde los procesos de sulfidización y flotación son controlados electroquímicamente, de modo que el contenido de los iones de sulfuro alimentados en la etapa de sulfidización se regula por medio del potencial redox a un nivel en donde el tamaño del grano de los sulfuros de metales valiosos creados es suficiente para hacerlos flotar, y el potencial de redox de la etapa de flotación se regula para que esté dentro del rango en donde el producto químico colector se adhiere al mineral que se va a hacer flotar, pero los sulfuros no se oxidan.
