Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con un nuevo método para producir fluoruro de hidrógeno, en donde pueden usarse diferentes fuentes de fluoruro de calcio, y la ocurrencia de un segundo estado de pasta puede evitarse efectivamente. Específicamente, se describe un método para producir fluoruro de hidrógeno haciendo reaccionar fluoruro de calcio con ácido sulfúrico, que comprende: una etapa (a) en donde las partículas de fluoruro de calcio que tienen un diámetro de partícula promedio de 1-40 µm y ácido sulfúrico, se mezclan y se hacen reaccionar a una relación molar de ácido sulfúrico/fluoruro de calcio de 0.9-1.1, a una temperatura de 0-70°C, por lo que se obtiene una mezcla de reacción sólida; y una etapa (b), en donde la mezcla de reacción sólida se calienta a una temperatura de 100-200°C y se hace reaccionar, produciendo de esta manera fluoruro de hidrógeno en una fase gaseosa.
