Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a composiciones y métodos para mejorar la producción de enduracidina en cepas manipuladas por ingeniería genética de Streptomyces fungicidicus. En particular, la presente invención describe la manipulación genética de los genes reguladores orf 24 y orf18 asociados con el cúmulo de genes de biosíntesis de enduracidina (enramicina) de Streptomyces fungicidicus, para generar constructos de vectores y cepas recombinantes productoras de mayores rendimientos de enduracidina.
