Abstract
El sistema de asistencia (1) opera en un modo de viaje en donde las llantas traseras (9) están inicialmente rectas, y cuando las llantas frontales (11) han sido direccionadas a un cierto ángulo de dirección, las llantas traseras (9) son controladas para girar proporcionalmente al control de ángulo de dirección recibido por las llantas frontales (11). Este sistema (1) también opera en modo de atraque en donde el eje trasero (5) dirige y en donde el ángulo de dirección de las llantas traseras (9) es controlado a través de un sistema direccional (10) para controlar la dirección del eje trasero (5). Dicho sistema entonces controla la dirección de las llantas traseras (9), que es dependiente de la distancia entre el vehículo y el embarcadero y otros obstáculos del entorno. Estas distancias son medidas por sensores de distancia (15,16, 17, 18).
