?veículo rodoviário com um sistema de assistência para manobras de atracação num cais e processo de atracação?. a presente invenção se refere a um sistema de assistência (1) que opera em um modo de estrada no qual as rodas traseiras (9) estão inicialmente em linha reta, e quando as rodas dianteiras (11) forem giradas em um determinado ângulo de direção, as rodas traseiras (9) são controladas para se orientar proporcionalmente ao ângulo de direção recebido pelas rodas da frente (11). este sistema (1) também opera em um modo de manobra no qual o eixo traseiro (5) conduz e no qual o ângulo de direção das rodas traseiras (9) é controlado através de um dispositivo (10) para controlar a direção do eixo traseiro (5). dito dispositivo então controla a direção das rodas traseiras (9), que depende da distância entre o veículo e a plataforma e outros obstáculos no ambiente. estas distâncias são medidas por sensores de distância (15, 16, 17, 18).
