Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la deshidratación de cuando menos un compuesto oxigenado, de preferencia seleccionado a partir de alcoholes saturados, alcoholes insaturados, dioles, éteres, en la presencia de cuando menos un catalizador de deshidratación seleccionado a partir de óxido de cerio (CeO2), óxido de aluminio (y-Al2O3), silicato de aluminio, sílice-alúminas (SiO2-Al2O3), alúminas, zeolitas, resinas sulfonatadas, resinas de intercambio de iones, óxidos de metales (por ejemplo, óxido de lantano, óxido de zirconio, óxido de tungsteno, óxido de talio, óxido de magnesio, óxido de zinc); de cuando menos un agente básico seleccionado a partir de amoníaco (NH3), o a partir de compuestos inorgánicos u orgánicos que contienen nitrógeno capaces de desarrollar amoníaco (NH3) durante dicho proceso de deshidratación; y opcionalmente, de sílice (SiO2), o de cuando menos un catalizador para la disociación de amoníaco (NH3) seleccionado a partir de los catalizadores que comprenden sílice (SiO2), de preferencia de sílice (SiO2).
