Abstract
Proceso para la producción de alquenoles que comprende la deshidratación de al menos un diol en la presencia de al menos un catalizador basado en óxido de cerio, en donde el catalizador basado en óxido de cerio se obtiene mediante precipitación, en la presencia de al menos una base, de al menos un compuesto que tiene cerio. De manera preferente, el diol puede ser un butanodiol, de manera más preferente 1,3-butanodiol, de manera aún más preferente bio-10 1,3-butanodiol derivado de procesos biosintéticos. Estos alquenoles se pueden usar de manera ventajosa para la producción de 1,3-butadieno, en particular de bio-1,3- butadieno.
