Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con medicina e incluye un método para prevenir y tratar enfermedades causadas por virus que contienen ARN y ADN, y enfermedades concomitantes, en donde el método comprende el uso de una cantidad efectiva de compuestos de la fórmula general I o sales farmacéuticamente aceptables de la misma; la invención también se relaciona con métodos para preparar dichos compuestos, composiciones farmacéuticas para la prevención o tratamiento de enfermedades causadas por virus que contienen ARN y ADN, dichas composiciones comprenden una cantidad efectiva de un compuesto de la fórmula I o una sal farmacéuticamente aceptable del mismo; la invención trata con el objetivo de proporcionar un agente novedoso efectivo en el tratamiento de enfermedades causadas por un virus que contiene ARN perteneciente al género Enterovirus, Metapneumo virus, Pneumovirus, Respirovirus o Alfa-coronavirus, y/o por un virus que contiene ADN perteneciente a la familia Adenoviridae y/o Herpesviridae, y en la prevención y tratamiento de exacerbación de asma, enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica, mucoviscidosis, conjuntivitis, gastroenteritis, hepatitis, miocarditis; en la prevención y tratamiento de rinorrea, rinitis infecciosa y aguda, faringitis, nasofaringitis, tonsilitis, laringitis, laringotraqueitis, laringotraqueobronquitis, bronquitis, bronquiolitis, neumonía o síndrome obstructivo de la vía aérea.
