Abstract
El método y sistema para dotar de protección a un vehículo contra impactos al estar estacionado objeto de esta invención, consiste en utilizar los elementos con los cuales algunos vehículos salen de fábrica para configurar un sistema que le brinda protección al vehículo cuando este se encuentra estacionado, en una primera versión el sistema emplea los transductores ultrasónicos con los que vienen equipados algunos vehículos para usarlos como detectores de proximidad y posteriormente mediante la manipulación matemática de estos datos en los elementos configurados con este propósito dentro de la computadora central calcular velocidad y aceleración de aproximación de los vehículos hacia el vehículo estacionado, dando una alarma sonora y visual para evitar una colisión, como segunda versión el sistema plantea el uso de cámaras electrónicas colocadas en la parte frontal y en la parte trasera del vehículo para registrar las placas de identificación de los vehículos que se aproximan y poder emplear la altura o dimensión vertical de los números y letras en la placa como elemento de referencia para calcular la distancia entre la placa y la cámara utilizando una relación matemática entre la distancia y la altura con la que aparecen en el detector de imagen de la cámara los número y letras de la placa, en esta modalidad el sistema puede tomar una fotografía de las placas del auto que impacte contra el vehículo protegido estacionado.
