Abstract
a invenção refere-se a um sistema que fornece proteção a um veículo contra impactos quando o veículo está estacionado. o sistema consiste em usar os elementos com os quais alguns veículos são fabricados para projetar um sistema que forneça proteção ao veículo quando estacionado. em uma primeira forma de realização, o sistema usa como sensores de proximidade os transdutores de ultrassons com os quais certos veículos são equipados. subsequentemente, ao manipular matematicamente esses dados nos elementos projetados para esse fim no computador central, o sistema calcula a velocidade e a aceleração dos veículos que se aproximam do veículo estacionado, emitindo um alarme visível e audível para evitar uma colisão. em uma segunda forma de realização, o sistema usa câmaras eletrônicas dispostas na parte frontal e na parte traseira do veículo, de modo a registar as placas numéricas de registro dos veículos que se aproximam e de ser capaz de usar a altura ou a dimensão vertical dos números e letras na placa como um elemento de referência para calcular a distância entre a placa e a câmera, usando uma relação matemática entre a distância e a altura dos números e das letras na placa, como aparecem no detector de imagem da câmera.
