Abstract
La invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la depuración biológica de aguas residuales de coquería que están cargadas con compuestos de nitrógeno, cianuros, fenoles y sulfuros. Las aguas residuales de coquería, para la eliminación de sustancias nocivas que inhiben una nitrificación, se suministran junto con una corriente de materia que contiene biomasa a un reactor de descontaminación que presenta una zona de gasificación y una zona de reacción. La mezcla de carga suministrada al reactor de descontaminación se somete en la zona de gasificación a un agente oxidante gaseoso. Una corriente de materia enriquecida con el agente oxidante se suministra a la zona de reacción, en la que se degradan biológicamente cianuros y otras sustancias nocivas que inhiben la nitrificación. De la zona de reacción se extrae una corriente de materia y se recircula al reactor de descontaminación. Además, una corriente de aguas residuales del reactor de descontaminación se separa por medio de una filtración de membrana en una corriente de rechazo que contiene biomasa y una corriente de permeado purificada. De la corriente de rechazo se aparta una corriente parcial, que arrastra lodo sobrante. La corriente de rechazo tras la separación de la corriente parcial se recircula al reactor de descontaminación. La corriente de permeado se depura adicionalmente mediante nitrificación con posterior desnitrificación.
