Abstract
Un artículo que comprende una tela que comprende: (a) un hilado combinado que comprende: (i) de aproximadamente 10% a aproximadamente 85% en peso de al menos una fibra birregional que comprende un polímero oxidado seleccionado del grupo que consiste de homopolímeros a base de acrilonitrilo, copolímeros a base de acrilonitrilo, terpolímeros a base de acrilonitrilo, y sus combinaciones; (ii) al menos una fibra complementaria seleccionada del grupo que consiste de poliéster FR, nylon FR, rayón FR, celulosa tratada FR, m-aramida, p-aramida, modacrílico, novoloide, melamina, lana, nylon, celulosa regenerada, cloruro de polivinilo, fibra antiestática, poli(p-fenilen benzobisoxazol) (PBO), polibenzimidazol (PBI), polisulfonamida (PSA), y sus combinaciones; y (b) opcionalmente incluyendo un hilado complementario diferente del hilado combinado; en donde el hilado complementario incluye p-aramida en una cantidad menor del 20% en peso de la tela; y en donde la tela tiene un peso de aproximadamente 101.718 g/m2 (3 oz/yd2) a aproximadamente 406.872 g/m2 (12 oz/yd2).
