Abstract

Se describe un ensamble de boquilla de gas colocable (100) que tiene un tubo de boquilla (110) para inyectar y dirigir aire presurizado u otro gas inerte hacia una lechada de pellas con el fin de incrementar la velocidad de la lechada desde un formador de pellas y a través de un secador. El tubo de boquilla (110) variablemente colocable puede ser insertado, retraído y/o colocado en forma intermedia ya sea manualmente o utilizando un sistema de control automático. El sistema de control automático de preferencia incluye un cilindro neumático (154) móvilmente acoplado con un carro (160) que está fijamente acoplado al tubo de boquilla. El cilindro neumático contiene un pistón (172) que está magnéticamente acoplado con el carro de manera que el movimiento del pistón en respuesta a la inyección de aire presurizado en el cilindro también mueve el carro y la boquilla para obtener las posiciones variables.
