Abstract
Un proceso para tratar materia orgánica para convertirla en un producto comprende la etapa de poner en contacto la materia orgánica con el líquido supercrítico por medio del cual reaccione para formar el producto. El líquido puede calentarse a través de un medio de calefacción externo, o puede calentarse internamente en el proceso mediante el co-suministro de un agente oxidante con el líquido. Este agente puede estar en una cantidad que se predetermina para controlar el alcance al cual se calienta la mezcla de reacción. El calor puede suministrarse para proporcionar suficiente energía de activación para que haya reacción de proceso con la velocidad suficiente y para que el líquido logre las características suficientes para provocar la reacción.
