Abstract

Composición de recubrimiento adecuado para recubrir un substrato de metal, preferentemente acero, el cual tiene el propósito de ser fabricado y sobre recubierto, dicha composición comprendiendo: i) polvo de zinc y/o aleación de zinc y u) un sol de sílice modificado comprendiendo partículas de sílice coloidales modificados con de 6 a 40% en peso de uno ó más compuestos de silano, basado en el peso seco combinado de los compuesto(s) de silano y partículas de sílice coloidales, y siendo obtenibles agregando dichos compuesto(s) de silano al sol de sílice con un rango de no más de 20 moléculas de silano por nm2 de superficie de sílice coloidal por hora. Esta composición de recubrimiento tiene una vida en el crisol relativamente larga, buena resistencia a la oxidación blanca, y buenas propiedades de película.
