Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la remoción de compuestos de alternación endócrina de un medio acuoso mediante la adición de carbonato de calcio natural reaccionado en la superficie o una suspensión acuosa que comprende carbonato de calcio que reacciona en la superficie y que tiene un pH mayor de 6.0 medido a 20ºC, para el medio, en donde el carbonato de calcio reaccionado en la superficie es un producto de reacción de carbonato de calcio natural con dióxido de carbono y uno o más ácidos, el uso de carbonato de calcio reaccionado en la superficie para la remoción de los compuestos de alteración endócrina, así como una combinación de carbonato de calcio que reacciona en la superficie y carbono activado para la remoción de compuestos de alteración endócrina.
