Abstract
Postupak za uklanjanje spojeva endokrine razgradnje (SER-ova) iz vodenog medija, gdje se površinski reaktivni prirodni kalcijev karbonat ili vodena suspenzija koja sadrži površinski reaktivni kalcijev karbonat i ima pH veći od 6,0 mjereno na 20°C, dovodi u kontakt s medijem koji sadrži SER-ove, gdje je površinski reaktivni kalcijev karbonat proizvod reakcije prirodnog kalcijevog karbonata s ugljičnim dioksidom i jedne ili više kiselina, gdje se ugljični dioksid formira in situ tretmanom s kiselinom i/ili se dovodi iz nekog vanjskog izvora. Patent sadrži još 22 patentna zahtjeva.
Claims (23)
1. Postupak za uklanjanje spojeva endokrine razgradnje (SER-ova) iz vodenog medija, gdje se površinski reaktivni prirodni kalcijev karbonat ili vodena suspenzija koja sadrži površinski reaktivni kalcijev karbonat i ima pH veći od 6,0 mjereno na 20°C, dovodi u kontakt s medijem koji sadrži SER-ove, gdje je površinski reaktivni kalcijev karbonat proizvod reakcije prirodnog kalcijevog karbonata s ugljičnim dioksidom i jedne ili više kiselina, gdje se ugljični dioksid formira in situ tretmanom s kiselinom i/ili se dovodi iz nekog vanjskog izvora.
2. Postupak prema zahtjevu 1, naznačen time da se površinski reaktivni prirodni kalcijev karbonat priprema kao vodena suspenzija koja ima pH veći od 6,5, poželjno veći od 7,0 i najpoželjnije veći od 7,5, mjereno na 20°C.
3. Postupak prema zahtjevima 1 ili 2, naznačen time da je prirodni kalcijev karbonat odabran iz skupine koja sadrži mramor, kalcit, kredu i dolomit, vapnenac i njihove mješavine.
4. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih zahtjeva, naznačen time da kiselina ima vrijednost pKa 2,5 ili manju na 25°C.
5. Postupak prema zahtjevu 4, naznačen time da su kiseline odabrane iz skupine koja sadrži klorovodoničnu kiselinu, sumpornu kiselinu, sumporastu kiselinu, hidrogensulfat, fosfornu kiselinu, oksalnu kiselinu i njihove mješavine.
6. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih zahtjeva, naznačen time da prirodni kalcijev karbonat reagira s kiselinom i/ili ugljičnim dioksidom u prisustvu najmanje jednog silikata i/ili silicijevog dioksida, aluminijevog hidroksida, aluminata zemnoalkalnih metala, magnezijevog oksida ili njihovih mješavina.
7. Postupak prema zahtjevu 6, naznačen time da je najmanje jedan silikat odabran iz skupine koja sadrži aluminijev silikat, kalcijev silikat i silikat alkalnog metala.
8. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih zahtjeva, naznačen time da površinski reaktivni prirodni kalcijev karbonat ima specifičnu površinu od 5 m2/g do 200 m2/g, poželjno od 20 m2/g do 80 m2/g i poželjnije od 30 m2/g do 60 m2/g, mjereno korištenjem dušika i postupka BET, u skladu s ISO standardom 9277.
9. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih zahtjeva, naznačen time da površinski reaktivni prirodni kalcijev karbonat ima srednji promjer zrna d50 od 0,1 do 50 um, poželjno od 0,5 do 25 um, poželjnije od 0,8 do 20 um, a posebno od 1 do 10 um, mjereno su skladu s postupkom sedimentacije.
10. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih zahtjeva, naznačen time da je vodena suspenzija površinski reaktivnog prirodnog kalcijevog karbonata stabilizirana s jednim ili više disperzanata.
11. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih zahtjeva, naznačen time da se površinski reaktivni prirodni kalcijev karbonat koristi u obliku praha i/ili u obliku granula.
12. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih zahtjeva, naznačen time da se površinski reaktivni kalcijev karbonat dodaje u dozama (na bazi mase) 102 do 109 puta većim od mase SER-ova, poželjno od 2×104 do 106 i najpoželjnije od 104 do 3×105.
13. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih zahtjeva, naznačen time da je pH vodenog medija koji sadrži SER-ove podešen na vrijednost >6, poželjnije >6,5, poželjnije >7 prije dodavanja površinski reaktivnog prirodnog kalcijevog karbonata.
14. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih zahtjeva, naznačen time da su SER-ovi odabrani iz skupine koja sadrži endogene hormone, kao što su 17β-estradiol (E2), estron (E1), estriol (E3), testosteron ili dihidro testosteron; fito i miko hormone, kao što su β-sitosterol, genistein, daidzein ili zeraleon; lijekove, kao što su 17α-etinilestradiol (EE2), mestranol (ME), dietilstilbestrol (DES), i industrijske kemikalije, kao što su 4-nonil fenol (NP), 4-tert-oktil fenol (OP), bisfenol A (BPA), tributilkositar (TBT), metilživa, ftalati, PAK ili PCB.
15. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih zahtjeva, naznačen time da se u vodeni medij dodaje još i aktivni ugljik.
16. Postupak prema zahtjevu 15, naznačen time da se aktivni ugljik dodaje u vodeni medij prije dodavanja površinski reaktivnog kalcijevog karbonata.
17. Postupak prema bilo kojem zahtjevu 15 ili 16, naznačen time da čestice aktivnog ugljika imaju veličinu zrna od 0,1 um do 5 mm, poželjno od 10 pm do 2 mm, od 0,1 mm do 0,5 mm, na primjer 0,3 mm.
18. Postupak prema bilo kojem zahtjevu od 15 do 17, naznačen time da je maseni omjer površinski reaktivnog prirodnog kalcijevog karbonata prema aktivnom ugljiku od 1:1 do 100:1, poželjnije od 5:1 do 80:1, a posebno od 10:1 do 70:1 ili od 20:1 do 50:1, na primjer 30:1 ili 40:1.
19. Upotreba površinski reaktivnog prirodnog kalcijevog karbonata, definiranog prema jednom od zahtjeva od 1 do 14, za uklanjanje SER-ova iz vodenog medija.
20. Upotreba prema zahtjevu 19, naznačena time da se površinski reaktivni prirodni kalcijev karbonat koristi u kombinaciji s aktivnim ugljikom, definiranim u jednom od zahtjeva od 15 do 18.
21. Upotreba kombinacije površinski reaktivnog prirodnog kalcijevog karbonata, definiranog prema bilo kojem od zahtjeva od 1 do 14, i aktivnog ugljika, definiranog prema bilo kojem od zahtjeva od 15 do 18, za uklanjanje SER-ova iz nekog vodenog medija.
22. Kompozit koji se sastoji od po površinski reaktivnog prirodnog kalcijevog karbonata, definiranog prema bilo kojem od zahtjeva od 1 do 14, i jednog ili više SER-ova, uklonjenih iz nekog vodenog medija.
