Abstract
Esta invención se refiere a revestimientos adhesivos comestibles para productos alimenticios de componentes múltiples, métodos para hacer revestimientos adhesivos comestibles, productos alimenticios que comprenden estos revestimientos adhesivos comestibles, y métodos para hacer productos alimenticios de componentes múltiples que comprenden revestimientos adhesivos comestibles; y particularmente a revestimientos adhesivos comestibles para productos alimenticios de componentes múltiples, métodos para hacer revestimientos adhesivos comestibles, productos alimenticios que comprenden estos revestimientos adhesivos comestibles, y métodos para hacer productos alimenticios de componentes múltiples que comprenden revestimientos adhesivos comestibles donde una de las funciones para los revestimientos adhesivos comestibles es facilitar la adhesión de componentes formados de partículas, tales como granos o piezas de granola, a un componente de base, tal como un centro a base de alimento. Esta invención, en una modalidad, provee un revestimiento adhesivo comestible que comprende una fuente de grasa comestible, un polvo alimenticio higroscópico, y de manera opcional un emulsionante. En modalidades específicas, el polvo alimenticio higroscópico es una fibra dietética, tal como polidextrosa, y el emulsionante es lecitina. La fuente de grasa comestible puede ser cualquier fuente típica, entre las que se incluyen revestimientos compuestos y revestimientos de chocolate.
