Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo surtidor iontoforetico accionado con potencia electrica incluye un ensamble de electrodo donador,un ensamble de contraelectrodo y una fuente de energía adaptada para ser conectada electricamente al ensamble de electrodo donador y al ensamble de contraelectrodo, por lo menos uno de los ensambles de electrodo incluye un depósito de agente que contiene un agente, el depósito de agente adaptado para ser colocado en relación de transmisión de agente con una superficie del cuerpo; un electrodo adaptado para ser conectado electricamente a la fuente de energía electrica y al depósito de agente; en donde el electrodo comprende: una matriz polimerica hidrofóbica; de aproximadamente 10 a 50 por ciento en volumen de un agente que pueda absorber un solvente liquido formado así una pluralidad de trayectorias de conducción de iones atraves de la matriz; y de aproximadamente 5 a 40 por ciento en volumen de una especie química capaz de sufrir oxidación o reducción durante la operación del dispositivo.
