Abstract
Description
Claims (21)
- 1.トナー電極アセンブリー、対電極アセンブリー、及びドナー電極アセンブリ ーと対電極アセンブリーとに電気的に接続できるように適合させた電源を含み、 且つ該電極アセンブリーのうちの少なくとも1つが、体表面に対して作用薬を送 出することができる位置に配置することができるように適合させた作用薬を含む 作用薬溜めと;電源及び作用薬溜めに電気的に接続できるように適合させた電極 とを含み;且つ該電極が:疎水性ポリマーマトリックス;液体溶媒を吸収し、そ れによってマトリックス中を通る複数のイオン伝導路を形成することができる作 用薬を約10−50容量%;及び装置の運転中に、酸化又は還元される化学種を 約5−40容量%を含む: 電動イオン導入送出装置。
- 2.電極がアノードであり、化学種が装置の運転中に酸化されることのできる導 電性金属である請求項1記載の装置。
- 3.該金属が、銀と亜鉛から成る群より選択される請求項2記載の装置。
- 4.電極がカソードであり、化学種が装置の運転中に還元される導電性金属であ る請求項1記載の装置。
- 5.還元される化学種が、AgCl、AgBr、及びAg4Fe(CN)6から 成る群より選択される導電性塩である請求項4記載の装置。
- 6.還元される化学種が非導電性であり、マトリックスが更に導電性充填剤も含 む請求項4記載の装置。
- 7.非導電性の還元可能な化学種がCuCl2とCuSO4から成る群より選択 されるものであり、導電性充填剤が金属又は炭素を含む請求項6記載の装置。
- 8.溶媒吸収剤が、実質的に、溶媒において不溶性である請求項1記載の装置。
- 9.溶媒吸収剤が、水不溶性親水性ポリマーを含む請求項1記載の装置。
- 10.親水性ポリマーが、エチレン酢酸ビニルコポリマーとポリイソブチレンか ら成る群より選択されるものである請求項9記載の装置。
- 11.疎水性ポリマーマトリックスが、エチレン酢酸ビニルコポリマー、ポリア ルキレン、ポリイソプレン、ポリイソブチレンを含むラバー、ポリアミド、ポリ ウレタン、ポリ塩化ビニル、改質セルロースポリマー、及びそれらの混合物から 成る群より選択されるものである請求項1記載の装置。
- 12.疎水性ポリマーマトリックスが、フィルムの形態である請求項1記載の装 置。
- 13.対電極アセンブリーが、電源と電気的に接続できるように適合させた対電 極と、体表面に対して電解質を送出する位置に配置できるように適合させた電解 質溜めとを含み、該対電極が電解質溜めと電気的に接触していて;且つ該対電極 が:疎水性ポリマーマトリックス; 液体溶媒を吸収し、それによってマトリックス中を通る複数のイオン伝導路を形 成することができる作用薬を約10−50容量%;及び装置の運転中に、酸化又 は還元される化学種を約5−40容量%を含む; 請求項1記載の装置。
- 14.電解質溜めが、親水性ポリマーを約10−60重量%、疎水性ポリマーを 約10−60重量%、及び電解質を約50重量%以下含むポリヌーマトリックス である請求項13記載の装置。
- 15.ドナー電極アセンブリーが、電源と電気的に接続できるように適合させた ドナー電極と、体表面に対して薬物を送出する位置に配置できるように適合させ た薬物溜めとを含み、且つ該ドナー電極が薬物溜めと接触している表面を有して いる請求項1記載の装置。
- 16.薬物溜めが、親水性ポリマーを約10−60重量%、疎水性ポリマーを約 10−60重量%、及び薬物を約50重量%以下含むポリマーマトリックスであ る請求項15記載の装置。
- 17.電源が、バッテリーを含む請求項1記載の装置。
- 18.作用薬が、薬物を含む請求項1記載の装置。
- 19.薬物が、水溶性薬物塩である請求項18記載の装置。
- 20.作用薬が、電解質を含む請求項1記載の装置。
- 21.電解質が、水溶性電解質塩を含む請求項20記載の装置。
