Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para el tratamiento de la superficie de un cuerpo hueco metálico, en particular un cuerpo de lata, mediante transferencia térmica de un diseño o motivo, el cual se imprime sobre un portador auxiliar por medio de procedimientos de impresión convencionales y el uso de materias de tinte orgánicas sublimables, a un revestimiento superficial afín a la materia de tinte sobre el cuerpo hueco, el procedimiento está caracterizado porque el hueco se coloca sobre un mandril y el portador auxiliar se aplica para abarcar completamente la superficie del cuerpo hueco y forma una región de traslapo que se extiende en la dirección axial del cuerpo hueco, después de lo cual la región de traslapo se mantiene comprimida desprendiblemente contra la superficie, se forma un artículo compuesto que consiste del cuerpo hueco y el portador auxiliar, se inicia un movimiento relativo en la dirección longitudinal del cuerpo hueco entre el cuerpo hueco y un bucle conductor para calentar al artículo compuesto e iniciar el procedimiento de transferencia, se le suministra corriente al bucle conductor, el procedimiento de transferencia se termina, con lo cual se libera el efecto de comprensión para la remoción del protador auxiliar.
