Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a sistema de suspensión mejorado para un vehículo, con uno o mas amortiguadores de choque, cada amortiguador de choque comprendiendo un cilindro generalmente vertical que recibe en el a un líquido hidráulico, un pistón trabajando en dicho cilindro, una varilla del pistón que se asegura al mismo y se extiende a través del extremo más alto del cilindro hacia el exterior, el pistón divide el interior del cilindro en dos cámaras de líquido, una superior y una inferior, una cámara de depósito de líquido se conecta a la cámara de líquido inferior, un primer elemento de válvula que conecta a la cámara de depósito con la cámara de líquido inferior; la cámara de líquido superior tiene dos conexiones hacia la cámara de líquido inferior, una conexión comprende un elemento de válvula que tiene una fuerza amortiguadora constante y la otra conexión comprende un primer elemento de válvula de retención de control de amortiguamiento; la cámara de líquido inferior además tiene dos conexiones hacia la cámara de depósito, una conexión comprende un elemento de válvula que tiene una fuerza amortiguadora constante y la otra conexión comprende un segundo elemento de válvula de retención de control de amortiguamiento que genera una fuerza de amortiguamiento controlada para regular el flujo a través de la conexión para la compresión, dichos elementos de válvula de retención controlable son controlados por un medio que es responsivo a las señales de unos sensores para señalizar la velocidad vertical (x, y) y/o aceleración (x.y) de la rueda (x) o el cuerpo del vehículo (y), caracterizado en que cada una de las dos válvulas de retención puede tomar dos estados de operación bajo la acción del medio de control, en un primer estado las válvulas de retención primera y segunda respectivamente, restringen el flujo hacia adelante para proveer el modo rígido en la carrera de compresión y la carrera de expansión respectivamente; y en un segundo estado que permite flujo hacia adelante restringido a través de las válvulas de retención primera y segunda, respectivamente para proveer dicho modo suave en la carrera de compresión y la carrera de expansión, respectivamente.
