Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para mejorar la resistencia contra el desgaste mecánico de un substrato, caracterizado porque comprende los pasos de: a) exponer el substrato al efluente de una pistola termonebulizadora por arco eléctrico usando un alambre de titanio pretratado y gas nitrógeno usando un alambre de titanio pretratado y gas de nitrógeno como el gas atomizador/propulsor, mediante lo cual se produce un revestimiento considerablemente de nitruro de titanio sobre el substrato.
