제1도는 본 발명 제품을 제조하고 또 본 발명방법을 실시하는데 사용되는 전형적인 전기 아-크분무시스템을 도시한 것이다.
Claims (13)
- 기판을, 예비처리된 티타늄 와이어 및 원자화/추진가스로서 질소를 사용하여 전기 아크 열분사기에서 방출되는 방출물에 노출시켜, 상기 기판상에 실질적으로 티타늄 니트리드 피막을 형성시키는 단계를 포함하는 기판의 기계적 내마모성을 개선하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피막은 0.001인치 이상의 두께를 갖는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 전기 아크 열분사기는 티타늄 대 질소의 비가 1내지 2인 피막을 제공하도록 작동되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 전기 아크 열분사기는 전류공급 100 내지 400암페아로 작동되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 전기 아크 열분사기와 기판의 간격은 기판의 과열을 방지하기 위한 최소거리를 유지하도록 하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 거리는 3내지 8인치인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 와이어는 질소중에서 아니얼림되어 와이어의 질소함량 500ppm이상으로 증가시키는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 공급와이어중 단지 하나가 티타늄 와이어이며, 다른 공급와이어는 Fe, Cr, Ni Mo, W, 저용점 비 철금속 및 그들의 합금과 세라믹 또는 금속간 화합물인 방법.
- 통상 사용시 기계적 마모를 받는 하나 이상의 표면을 갖는 공업제품을 이루는 기판; 상기 제품의 사용수명을 2배이상 연장시키도록, 티타늄 와이어, 및 원자화/추진 가스로서 질소가스를 이용하여 전기 아크분사기에 의해 상기 표면에 침적되는 실질적으로 티타늄 니트리트 피막; 의 결합물을 포함하는 우수한 기계적 내마모성을 나타내는 하나 이상의 표면을 갖는 공업제품.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 피막은 0.001인치 이상인 공업제품.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 기판은 해머밑 스크린인 공업제품.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 기판은 금속부품인 공업제품.
