Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para la preparación de una aleación de cobre insensible al agretamiento para moldes de colada, que en la colada quedan sometidos a un esfuerzo permante por la temperatura cambiante, caracterizado porque una pieza bruta de una aleación de 1.6 hasta 2.4 por ciento de níquel, 0.5 hasta 0.8 por ciento de silicio, 0.01 hasta 0.20 por ciento de zirconio y el resto de cobre incluyendo impurezas condicionadas por la fabricación y aditivos usuales en la elaboración, se pone al rojo despues de una pre-conformación a 700-900 grados C, luego se enfría abruptamente y a continuación se somete a un tratamiento de endurecimiento de 0.5-10 horas en una zona de temperatura de 350 hasta 520 grados C.
