Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a mejoras a artículo recubierto teniendo una capa compuesta resistente a las descantilladuras, el artículo comprende: un sustrato de metal; y un recubrimiento compuesto dispuesto sobre el sustrato de metal, el recubrimiento compuesto comprende una capa de un recubrimiento incluyendo una mezcla coreaccionada de un epoxi modificado con elastómero derivado de resina poliepóxido y de desde alrededor 5 a 35 por ciento por peso de un polímero conteniendo dieno funcionalmente terminado basado sobre el peso total de la resina poliepóxido y el polímero conteniendo dieno la funcionalidad siendo reactiva con epoxi y seleccionada del grupo que consiste de carboxil, fenol, hidroxil, epoxi, amino y cercaptan y (b) un material de función carboxil teniendo funcionalidad carboxil de por lo menos de 2.0 y seleccionado del grupo que consiste de resina de poliéster de funcion carboxil, un polímero acrílico de función carboxil, un ácido dicarboxílico, un ácido policarboxílico o mezclas de los mismos y por lo menos una capa de recubrimiento adicional teniendo una composición diferente a aquella de la capa de recubrimiento conteniendo epoxi modificado con elastómero.
