Abstract

Invenţia se referă la biotehnologie, în special la un procedeu de obţinere a pigmentului carotenoidic mixoxantofila din biomasă de Spirulina platensis pentru utilizare în industria alimentară sau în medicină.Conform invenţiei, procedeul constă în aceea că se efectuează extragerea repetată a mixoxantofilei din biomasă cu soluţie hidroetanolică de 70…96% cu separarea biomasei prin centrifugare şi unificarea extractelor obţinute, la care se adaugă hidroxid de kaliu de 40%, în raport de 3:1 faţă de cantitatea de biomasă supusă extracţiei, se menţine 4…6 ore şi se adaugă hexan, după care prin decantare se separă fracţia etanolică cu conţinut de mixoxantofilă, care se diluează cu apă până la concentraţia alcoolului etilic de 45…50%, se centrifughează la 6000 rot/min, iar cristalele obţinute se spală cu soluţie de etanol de 45…50% şi se usucă.
